HOW CLEANTECH TECHNOLOGY WORKS The Cleantech systems have been designed for cleaning every component that contains polymer residues such as extrusion heads , injection nozzles , dies , filter elements and by-pass valves . The process , which takes place in an inert environment saturated with nitrogen , is effective , safe and fast and can be easily supervised through the machine ’ s PLC . The melting and complete degradation of polymer residues therefore take place in total absence of oxygen , without any risk of combustion , taking advantage of the patented Pht Petrelli infrared technology which allows a very fast , efficient and economical heating ( 8 kW / h for cycles lasting
