with minimal material loss , optimisation of process water consumption , centrifuge-type dryer of stainless steel with removable doors and screens for easier cleaning or washing , tank completely made of stainless steel with a thickness of 3 mm with a level gauge to keep the water level constant inside the tank , a die made of wear-resistant steel , cooling and cleaning unit for tank and process water , as well as a shaft bearing unit for a downsized blade holder that optimises replacement times in case of failure of a bearing . The range of water-ring granulators includes the TM 350-X , TM 850-X and TM 1350-X models with production capacities up to 500 , 1,500 and 3,000 kg / h respectively . The range of underwater granulators consists of the UW-TM 350 , UW-TM 850 and UW-TM 1350 models with production capacities up to 1,000 , 2,000 and 3,000 kg / h respectively .” |
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ASSISTANCE There is certainly no shortage of orders , underlines Raimondi : “ We are always struggling with quite demanding repairs , the deliveries and installations of new machinery in the completion phase , still encountering some difficulties in the supply of raw materials , especially with regard to electrical components . The market trend is increasingly moving |
towards customisation , plastics recycling and engineering polymers , even abroad . Today we tend as much as possible to provide a complete package starting from individual lines . If we aren ’ t able to fulfil an order with our in-house production , we cooperate with various partners selected over the years , for example in case of gravimetric blenders . And the same happens if we are required to supply tailor-made single-screw extruders , as we prefer to focus on twin-screw models instead , which provide higher performance .” The boundaries between the various “ traditional ” application sectors are becoming increasingly blurred , Raimondi points out : “ Innovations are now part of day-to-day business . For example , in Spain we recently installed a machine without centrifuge specially made for a customer , then a co-rotating twin-screw extruder for PVC masterbatch , another couple of machines for processing bioplastics and so on . In short , our work is demanding because it is often necessary to identify new solutions and propose modifications , individuate the right screws , etc ., also increasing production and at the same time falling within the parameters of Industry 4.0 . Overall , we try to do everything in-house when it comes to fairly simple applications but when we have to deal with something more complex , there ’ s no problem for |
us to ask for help : for instance in case of blenders , conveyors and special features . The market offers many solutions and you just need to know them and know where to go to find them . We have even established friendly relations with various customers and suppliers : these are all points of strength that allow us to work in the best possible conditions .” After strengthening the Italian domestic market , now is the time to focus efforts on exports , concludes Raimondi : “ We did not participate in exhibitions abroad , so orders came to us though salesmen . Now we are about to open our own sales office that , if all goes well , will be presented at the Plast fair . We will be there for the second time after the 2018 edition and I think we will be exhibiting an underwater granulator and a small twin-screw extruder because time is a bit tight and we also have to welcome several international customers who have reserved a visit to our headquarters to observe more closely our products equipped with all the accessories . Another equally interesting fair for us , in which we already took part , is Green Plast . Finally , to round off our international expansion strategy , we are creating a new corporate website specifically dedicated to foreign customers , parallel to the one already online that we are currently updating .” |
