(3)Database functions A “database function” is a function that is used to manage and operate a database containing related data such as a product list, employee list, or sales log. Database functions can be used to efficiently management large amounts of data. Web pages are collections of information published on the Internet. In order to obtain information from the Internet, the Web page a user wishes to view is accessed. Software referred to as a “WWW browser” is used to view Web pages. The main features of a WWW browser are summarized below.
