Molly Burke is such an amazing person, at the age of four years old, she was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa which is a rare retinal disease causing you to lose your vision. At the age of five, she also began to public speak as an ambassador. Over the course of numerous years, her vision began to progressively get worse and eventually she was blind. She became blind at the age of 14. She was bullied by being blind by her classmates, she battled depression because of that too. Her blindness gave her many opportunities too like being able to work with many activists like Martin Luther King III, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Malala Yousafzai and the Kielburger brothers. Molly also got to travel to many places around the world to share her story with the youth. In Molly’s free time she likes to downhill ski, horseback ride, create lyrics and practice yoga. She has a guide dog to help her with her daily routines, it’s name is Reiki. Her famous line is...
