What is Pay It Forward?
The concept for pay it forward is not to pay someone back, but to pay it forward by doing an act of kindness for three other people. Then they do it to three other people which makes it nine people and it just keeps on going. It can make a community better because it can lift anyone’s mood and make them feel good about themselves. You do it and you don’t expect anything in return.
What Happened?
The first thing that happened was I took my phone and set it on
time-lapse and started to make the muffins. The first two weren’t at home so I decided to go to one more house and luckily, they were there!
At first, they didn’t know what was happening because they read “Pay It Forward” so they thought they had to pay, but I made it clear that it was an act of kindness and they were surprised and thanked me. That is all that happened!
