Danny and Phil have collected many memories and friends over their time at Stewartry Rugby Club Phil played up until colts level before work commitments took over , and these days Danny can still be heard on the touchline shouting encouragement to his friends ,
” Time and injury has taken its toll on me ” said Danny
“ And I had to retire my position as front row hooker . I actually started my career as a winger but one day we had a competition to see who could hit the cross bar the most with an overhead through of the ball and I won ! The rest is history as they say and I was in the front row ever since . The club however have many good young players coming through and I`m sure they will continue to compete for the remainder of the season . Our company West Scottish
Lambs Ltd are proud sponsors and we have always enjoyed supporting the lads . They provide a great hub for the local community and I have always found everyone very welcoming .
