WHO ELSE WILL USE THE FACILITIES AT THE CLUB AND ARE THEY AVAILABLE FOR HIRE ? Members and other community groups utilise the facilities , both inside and out . Amazingly Alan Hook played his first game of senior Rugby for Ross High`s 5th team aged just 13 years old ! He remembers watching the match from the touchline when a voice directed at him said - ‘ do you have any boots ? ’, the rest was history . Alan played for Ross High till he was 20 years old until work commitments took over . He returned to the club as a player 15 years later aged 35 and played up until he was 47 starting on the wing and moving closer to the scrum as the years rolled on , he told Rugby Club Magazine

” Both my sons Adam and Ryan started in the clubs mini section .

Towards the end of my playing days , I played a game with Adam where he was No . 10 and I was outside centre ; when he was able to get to the player I was supposed to tackle before I could I knew my days were numbered . Ryan won the Scottish U16`s Cup with Musselborough and was involved in the Scotland set up too .
The team at Ross High have now developed a very strong forward setup which is paying dividends and the expansive rugby the backs are demonstrating is great to watch . Congratulations on everyone at Ross High Rugby Club on being chosen to appear in Rugby Club Magazine and best wishes for many years to come !”
