Laura Carter and Elly Leeds , RMS Darlington recruitment and HR firm Resource Management Solutions ( RMS ) has hired recruitment support coordinator Laura Carter to aid its North-East recruitment division , and recruitment and HR advisor Karina Homa for its base at Groupe CAT in Corby , Northamptonshire , where it runs an HR-managed service for the automotive logistics company .
Karina will provide support to temporary and permanent workers as part of the onsite team in Rockingham .
Elly Leeds has also been promoted to commercial manager at the head office on Victoria Road , Darlington .
Elly ’ s promotion will see her look at ways to expand and improve company working techniques and support clients strategically with effective insight , analysis and recommendations .
Paul Barber , Ardmore Craig Teesside-based engineering design and build consultant Ardmore Craig has welcomed Paul Barber as its new engineering manager .
The company , which specialises in concept development , detail design and analysis plus CAD support for the offshore and industrial engineering sectors , searched long and hard to find the right fit for the role .
It finally found its match in chartered engineer and former Teesside University engineering graduate Paul .
With Paul ’ s help , Ardmore hopes to become the go-to company for engineers wanting to deliver projects around the world , thereby helping to keep the best talent in Teesside .
Victoria Mason , Baines Jewitt One of Teesside ’ s largest firms of chartered accountants has welcomed a new recruit to its ranks .
Victoria Mason has joined Baines Jewitt as a trainee chartered accountant and is one of several recent recruits selected by the Stockton-based firm , which has a long history of developing its own talent .
“ I was thrilled to be offered the job at Baines Jewitt , especially as the role provides lots of relevant first-hand experience , while being given the opportunity to gain further qualifications ,” said the 23-year-old , from Stockton .
Baines Jewitt director Don Adams said : “ I also joined the firm as a trainee and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1993 , before being made a partner in 2002 .
“ I therefore understand the significance of employer-supported professional training programmes .

Stephen Lancaster , GB Bank Stephen Lancaster has been appointed CEO of GB Bank , the specialist bank committed to boosting economic growth and prosperity by providing property development finance in underserved regions of the UK .
A co-founder of the bank , Stephen has played an integral role in its conception and its unique cloud-native banking ecosystem , which provides a seamless and secure customer experience .
Stephen is the former CEO of Cascade and led the build and launch of its cloudnative platform .
He has more than 30 years of multiindustry and cross-sector experience , with particular expertise in FinTech .
His strengths lie in building startups , business strategy , technology and programme delivery .
The co-author of GB Bank ’ s regulatory business plan , Stephen ’ s commercial background complements the banking experience in the executive team and board , which is chaired by Monzo and Starling founder Paul Rippon .
The appointment has now been formally confirmed by the Prudential Regulation Authority , with consent from the Financial Conduct Authority .
