The Senate can also help individuals or groups who want to start their own interest group. In the past, there have been many groups meeting at College and these include the Christian Union, the Board Games Club, Motor Sports Club and Warhammer groups. We are also a centre for arranging the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
As well as bringing together a diverse range of students, The Senate also enjoys an active social scene. Obviously activities will have to be reconsidered in view of the Coronavirus pandemic. However, we hope we can soon return to sharing a brew and a chat in the Senate's designated social spaces.
If you are interested in getting involved with the Senate, please speak to one of the Student Liaison Officers at your Campus. These are Russ O'Malley at the Ellesmere Port Campus, John Leese at the Chester Campus or Andrew Charlton and Denis Newell at the Crewe Campus. You can also contact us by email at myvoice@ccsw.ac.uk
The Charity Fundraisers will identify events throughout the year that the College will support. In the past, the College has been involved with Children in Need, Comic Relief, Jeans for Genes, Christmas jumper appeals as well as supporting local charities.
