Join CCSW Student Senate to make a difference...
The Student Senate is a group of student volunteers from across all campuses and all courses. Their aim is to represent you, the student bod, to college managers, with the aim to improve things at College.
Some posts are elected while others applied for, and accepted on application with a reference from a member of staff. The elected posts include Student President, Student Governors, Campus Chairs and Campus Secretaries.
Non-elected posts include Ambassadors, Charity Fundraisers and Contributors to the Student Magazine, ipulse.
The Senate meets regularly to exchange ideas and collect information. Any issues are then grouped together and presented two relevant managers.
Campus Leads, Secretaries and the Student President will all meet occasionally to standardise ideas across the three campuses. While Student Governors will attend meetings several times a year with the College Governors.
Student Ambassadors support staff at events, such as Open Evenings, where they will meet and greet visitors and show them around our campuses.
