First impressions
��While we can ’ t control everything about the area the property is in , you can ensure that the approach is clean , tidy and welcoming . A villa should have a clean , rubbishfree path outside , trimmed shrubbery and well-kept garden . Curb appeal counts for a lot .
��An apartment entrance should be neat , with a nicely polished door knob and door , and a tasteful door mat . Lighting should be at the right level , and a fresh , healthy plant outside usually creates a good impression .
��Stepping inside , the entrance or lobby area should be clutter free , well lit , fresh and attractive .
��If you have pets , keep all food and litter boxes well away from the viewing area . Avoid the risk of animal odor by making sure your beloved pooch has a bath prior to any visits .
��Do a thorough check for chips and plaster cracks on walls . It is a simple task to repair or remove them , so long as they do not indicate any serious damage that needs investigating .
