Tadweld records 40 % revenue growth

Tadweld, a UK provider of metal fabrication and engineering solutions based in Tadcaster, has confirmed a landmark year of growth and achievement, despite the steel industry facing significant challenges. The company has reported a 40 % increase in revenue and welcomed its 50th team member; two significant milestones that underscore Tadweld’ s continued momentum in the industry.
“ Welcoming our 50th team member is a proud moment for us and reflects a 30 % increase in staff over the past year. This growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, as well as the trust placed in us by our clients. We’ re building a business on the foundations of our three company values; quality, innovation and teamwork, and it’ s fantastic that clients are reacting positively to this,” said Chris Houston, Managing Director, Tadweld.

Tadweld works with major blue-chip clients including Coca-Cola; Nestlé; Britvic; Yorkshire Water; Balfour Beatty and Sutcliffe Construction. The company specialises in engineering and fabrication solutions for the Food & Drink, Power & Energy and Utilities & Infrastructure industries.
In 2024, Tadweld invested heavily in external and internal training for staff, delivering over 2,500 hours of training to its team. This ongoing training initiative demonstrates the company’ s mission to support the next generation of engineers. The business has also invested over £ 500k in capital equipment in the last 12 months, including two modern laser welding machines, as well as new AMADA presses and guillotines. It has also acquired 17,000 sq ft of additional workshop and office space next to its existing facilities in Tadcaster.

Manufacturing World Osaka 2025

Manufacturing World Osaka 2025, set for 1-3 October 2025 at INTEX Osaka with 1,100 exhibitors and an expected 33,000 visitors, is a key manufacturing trade event in Western Japan. It follows the success of Manufacturing World Tokyo 2025, which attracted 55,749 industry professionals.
“ Manufacturing World Osaka enters its 28th year by attracting the industry’ s largest concentration of machine parts suppliers with technical expertise in processing technology. The 2025 edition features expanded smart maintenance and digital transformation solution areas that consistently draw highvalue visitors from key industries, creating valuable networking opportunities between established parts suppliers and the forwardthinking manufacturers they seek to serve,” said show organiser, RX Japan.
