Salvagnini at Blechexpo 2025

At this year’ s Blechexpo / Schweisstec tradeshow in Stuttgart, Germany( 21-24 October 2025), sheet metal specialist Salvagnini will showcase a range of machinery, automation and software designed to maximize productivity, improve the quality of the finished product and reduce errors and consumption.
The Flexible Smart Job Shop( FSJ) for Blechexpo 2025.
Flexible Smart Job Shop
An advanced version of the smart factory, the Flexible Smart Job Shop( FSJ), will be on display at its stand 1607 in Hall 1. It is a combination of stand-alone machines that process sheet metal autonomously or in cooperative mode, integrated by software, artificial intelligence and vision( AI) solutions, robotics and automation to tackle modern market challenges.
“ The Salvagnini Flexible Smart Job Shop integrates advanced cutting and separation, panel bending and bending technologies, combining them with automatic and robotised devices for the loading and unloading, handling and intermediate transfer of materials. The result is a modular and scalable solution that optimises production efficiency, reduces factory entropy and maximizes the performance of every single system. Thanks to its flexibility, FSJ can meet programmed production needs as well as unexpected requests, guaranteeing a high level of adaptability and reactivity,” Salvagnini explained.
At Blechexpo 2025, a Flexible Smart Job Shop will feature an S1 punch-laser combi machine, P-Robot robotised panel bender equipped with RVS artificial vision system and B3. AU-TO press brake. The Smart Warehouse, intermediate storage managed by OPS software, is positioned between punching / cutting and bending. An autonomous mobile robot( AMR) transfers flat parts between the various stations to optimise management of production flows, supporting just-in-time production strategies, eliminating bottlenecks and increasing operating efficiency.
S1, P-Robot and B3. AU-TO are designed to work independently from each other, but can cooperate for convergent production jobs via OPS, the Salvagnini modular process software that acts as a central coordinator to make the process efficient. Automatic loading-unloading devices, sorting devices, belt transfer devices and AMRs ensure that material is available immediately, reducing downtimes and handling errors.
S1 punch-laser combi machine
The S1 is the Salvagnini punch-laser combi machine that integrates punching, forming, tapping, laser cutting and part separation in a single system. Designed for integration into flow production, it is very different from a conventional combi machine as it offers loading and unloading on two different sides. This means that loading and unloading can be done in parallel, in masked time and reducing downtimes.

The S1 is equipped with the Salvagnini multi-press head with evolved hybrid technology, a matrix structure housing up to 59 thick-turret tools needed for production, actuated individually and always available. The multi-press head offers high punch-die alignment precision, and machining quality, with reduced cycle times, eliminating in-cycle set-ups and the related waiting times.
“ The hybrid actuators are a proprietary solution ensuring extremely stable performance and up to 20 % less average consumption, compared to conventional electrical solutions. They also eliminate the need for cooling systems and maintenance
due to worn moving components. The electrical tapping unit installed on the side of the punching head can house up to six different tools, up to M10,” said Salvagnini.
The manipulator with two independent carriages centres the sheet when machining begins, for processing without regripping. The carriages can run simultaneously or alternately: both have three independently opening extended grippers, to make it possible to machine all areas of the sheet. Another technological novelty is the multitool for forming; a special, patented Salvagnini solution used to house three different tools on the same lower cylinder.
The configuration exhibited in Stuttgart will feature an AFD automatic feeder device which loads the sheet metal to be machined, while the machined parts are automatically sorted combining the TM and SPP15 automation devices. The punching and cutting program is done with a new and simpler version of STREAMCOMBI.
P-Robot and P2-1620
P-Robot is the Salvagnini application which combines a panel bender with a robot to produce kits, batches and single parts. The P-Robot on display in Stuttgart will include some new features to improve process autonomy and reliability( such as an automatic device changer).
The P-Robot configuration can be customised. Salvagnini proposes simple production flows, with loading / unloading assistance only, and more complex systems including, for instance, automatic pallet handling or third-party integrations such as
