FACE TO FACE

Automated in-line solutions.
ISMR: Are there any products / technologies / services that you have released or are releasing this year that you would like to discuss?
GW: In 2026, YSM is continuing to develop its latest generation of modular strip-and-wire forming systems with particular emphasis on servo control, integrated processing, production flexibility and Industry-4.0 connectivity. Key technologies include the upgraded YSM CNC-39T, which features a 45-ton double-crank press for greater pressing capacity, stability and precision, together with the ability to integrate secondary processes such as resistance welding and tapping.
We are also promoting the YSM-36TC2, an upgraded version of the YSM-36T equipped with dual-axis servo control and CNC clamping and feeding. This configuration extends the available feeding length while maintaining the accuracy associated with traditional feeding systems.
Alongside these machine developments, we are expanding our CAMLESS servodriven technology, configurable radial and linear forming arrangements, IoT-enabled production monitoring and standardised tooling platforms. These solutions are designed to help customers shorten set-up and delivery times, simplify tooling, improve production transparency and manufacture a wider variety of components on a single platform.
We are also continuing to develop integrated production cells that combine stamping; bending; tapping; welding; thread forming; riveting and inspection within one automated line.
300 parts per minute, while four-cavity tooling can potentially raise total output to as many as 1,200 parts per minute. These capabilities create significant opportunities for customers producing high-volume components for the automotive, electronics, electrical and consumer goods industries.
Smart manufacturing represents another important area of growth. Industry-4.0 connectivity, IoT-enabled equipment, realtime monitoring and greater production data transparency allow manufacturers to identify inefficiencies, improve quality control, reduce downtime and make better production decisions. YSM is continuing to integrate these capabilities into its equipment, enabling
YSM’ s headquarters in Taichung, Taiwan. customers to move towards more connected, data-driven and automated factories.
Sustainable manufacturing is also becoming a more important consideration for customers. Demand is increasing for machines that consume less energy, optimise material utilisation, minimise production waste and provide longer operational life. YSM’ s durable machinery, modular designs, integrated production processes and material-saving forming solutions are well positioned to address these requirements while helping customers to lower their long-term operating costs and environmental impact.
Geographically, YSM also sees opportunities to expand its presence in Asia, Europe and other international markets. The company already supports projects across Asia and Europe and has established overseas technical and service capabilities. Strengthening these local support networks will allow YSM to respond more quickly to customers, provide localised technical assistance and capture growing demand for flexible and cost-effective automated manufacturing solutions.
ISMR: Thank you for your time. n
ISMR: Which areas of growth / opportunities can you highlight?
GW: YSM sees strong growth opportunities in high-speed production, smart manufacturing, sustainable manufacturing and international market development. Its integrated productionline solutions can currently achieve speeds of up to 250 parts per minute. In suitable applications, advanced servo technology can increase production speeds to approximately
