Jorns‘ bending package’ at Blechexpo 2025
Jorns is a Swiss, family-run business and internationally active specialist manufacturer of semi-automatic and fully automatic bending machines / folders. The company also offers accessories( e. g. cutting tables, shears and support arms) as well as bending software / control, service and support. Its 50-year milestone anniversary was in 2023.
Jorns AG will be exhibiting at Blechexpo 2025 in Stuttgart, Germany( 21-24 October 2025) with manufacturers Gebr. Spiegel AG and SPÓŁKA STO-LARCZYK( as well as local sales and service partner, Maschinen Stockert) in Hall 1 on stand 1311. The companies will use the motto“ Together we are STRONG.”

POWERSHIELD Guardian welding helmet
At SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN in Germany this September, EWM presented a special edition of its POWERSHIELD helmet series.
“ The three models of the‘ POWERSHIELD Guardian’ helmets, each limited to 250 pieces, combine maximum occupational safety with individual designs. The new helmets were available from the start of the trade show. All three models offer reliable protection for a wide range of applications, including TIG DC and TIG pulse( with excellent TIG response at low amperage), MIG / MAG, MIG / MAG pulse, plasma cutting / welding, grinding and oxy-fuel welding and cutting. They are therefore suitable for various welding processes with maximum versatility in use,” commented the welding specialist.
“ The POWERSHIELD Guardian CLEAN is available in a limited edition with a‘ Flames & Skull’ design. This helmet offers all-round protection and impresses with excellent TIG reactions, even at low amperage. Thanks to its ergonomic fit, individually adjustable headband and weight of 1,800 grammes, the helmet is particularly comfortable to wear. An integrated welding filter ensures colour-fast and high-contrast vision in all three models,” it continued.
The POWERSHIELD Guardian ECLIPSE Limited Edition( Flower Skull) offers a particularly large field of vision of 107 x 75mm and a two-colour function for quality of vision, even under demanding conditions. Weighing 600 grammes, this helmet is particularly light and offers an ergonomic fit
and individually adjustable headband. The model, said EWM, is particularly suitable for demanding applications where high visibility is required.
“ The POWERSHIELD Guardian PROTECT Limited Edition has been specially designed for tougher working conditions for all
welding and cutting processes. Weighing 500 grammes and with an ergonomic fit, the helmet is comfortable to wear even during long working hours. The design was created by Mia Woiner, a media design trainee at EWM. Her tattoo-inspired motif combines artistic creativity and precision craftsmanship, making this helmet the highlight of the edition,” added EWM.
“ With the limited edition, we want to offer our customers helmets that not only impress technically, but also make a visual statement,” emphasised Guido Kleimann, Head of the Welding Accessories Business Unit, EWM.“ The combination of functionality and design makes each model something special.” n
