Automated bending solutions on display
SafanDarley will be presenting its new Multi Cell, paired with its H-iBrake 125T with O-frame construction and new Dual ATC gripper for Multi Cell, at Blechexpo in Stuttgart, Germany, from 21-24 October 2025. Meet the company on stand 1805 in Hall 1 at the trade show.
“ The SafanDarley Multi Cell is a versatile addition to our automated bending solutions for all mid-sized products up to 500 x 2000mm product sizes and 40-125 tons of pressing force. This automation innovation enables the bending of a wide variety of products in a very compact space,” highlighted the Dutch bending specialist.
“ When the market starts demanding more flexible robotised bending solutions, there needs to be a change of perspective. We have developed the ultimate solution for the mid-sized sheet metal product range by making a cell that fits every demand. This retrofit-capable system ensures that the Multi Cell stays cutting-edge, with the ability to install new technology and features as they become available, safeguarding investments for the long term,” it continued.
The Multi Cell’ s modular design offers flexibility and customisation for most production set-ups. It is compatible with servo-electronic or hydraulic press brakes of 40-125 tons, with working lengths of up to 2550mm. The cell is equipped with a 70kg Fanuc robot and features modular safety fencing with manual or automatic doors. Integration for automated feed-in / out with AGV support is possible.
“ Users can save set-up time, by up to 50 %, by changing two tools at the same time and changing tools of up to 515mm and 30kg with the Dual ATC gripper. The Dual ATC gripper carries two tools simultaneously, reducing travel time and enabling a faster, more continuous set-up. It can handle larger and heavier tools, meaning fewer segments are needed for complex bends,” confirmed the company.
With the new Machine Connect App, operators receive real-time push notifications. Whether it’ s a completed product or an unexpected fault, they are instantly informed. This allows operators to focus on other tasks during automated cycles without losing sight of machine status. As a result, said SafanDarley, downtime is reduced, response times are faster and overall workflow becomes more efficient.
The Dutch manufacturer will also be promoting its electronic E-Brake 130T( with CNC crowning and dual-screen EC20 control) and its M-Shear. AutoPOL 3D bending simulation software and ASC-Control software for automated solutions, as well as EC3D software for direct import of 3D files and 3D programming, will also be on display at the trade show. n
