an S1 + P4 punching and panel bending line at EuroBLECH in Hanover ( S1 punch-laser combi machine and P4-2520 panel bender ). it presented a further extension of the concept of in-line processing , by integrating a B3 . AU-TO press brake downstream of the S1 + P4 .
At the EuroBLECH exhibition in Hanover , Germany last year , Schiavi Macchine displayed a 170-ton HFBx hybrid press brake ( 3m , eight axes , with 800mm large opening and 500mm stroke ). It can reach speeds of up to 300mm / s , the Italian bending specialist said .
The second press brake on its stand was a small 50-ton Hybrid BSTs ( 1.2m , six axes ) for the rapid bending of small components . This press brake consumes 0.6-0.7kW / h of energy and offers speeds of up to 250mm / s . The Atlas CNC control featured on both press brakes for automatic generation of the entire bending program , including tooling set-up .
STEP Automation specialises in numeric control for press brakes and shears . Its new generation ROCK NC series is for programming and controlling press brakes . The software provides features for Industry 4.0 such as scheduled maintenance management , production management and easy integration with corporate ERP .
TEDA Srl Speedy compact press brakes are designed for small part bending and are available in two versions , manual and NCdriven , and in two dimensions ( 550 - 835mm , 16 and 18 tons respectively ). The company also offers SPEED GRIP pneumatic and manual clamping systems for press brakes , available in different versions .
Turkish manufacturer TOSKAR MAKINA ’ s Easy Fab series of press brakes has been designed with two main goals in mind ; easy operation and maximum productivity in the long run . They feature a sturdy steel frame ( ST44 A1 steel ) and a wide variety of standard features such as a motorised R axis , manual crowning and full-length tooling .
At this November ’ s Blechexpo exhibition in Stuttgart , TRUMPF will be showing several new machines and technologies for automated bending . It will be launching its new Flex Cell as an automation solution for TRUMPF ’ s TruBend 7050 machine . In a few steps , an
operative can dock the mobile robot cell onto the press brake for automatic operation . The machine will then run autonomously for several hours .
TRUMPF used its INTECH in-house trade show this March as an opportunity to showcase the latest generation of its TruBend Series 8000 press brakes . With an 880mm open height , a stroke of 700mm and a press force of 400 metric tons , the TruBend 8000 bends very large parts , allowing workers to bend and remove workpieces that require a large box height . Optional extras include a bending aid that automatically positions the workpiece for bending and a special tool clamp for XXL parts .
Featuring the new Right Angle ( RA ) control system , the new TruBend 1000 press brake has a user-friendly interface and comes with TRUMPF ’ s technical data for metal bending . The TruBend 1000 Classic is suitable for companies manufacturing simple and semicomplex parts in medium batch sizes . The initial version weighs 225 metric tons and has a bending length of four metres .
The German sheet-metal specialist also displayed a new and versatile multigripper at EuroBLECH 2022 , designed to deliver greater productivity for automated bending processes . It is fitted to the TRUMPF BendMaster robotic arm . For automated die bending , it offers the TruBend Cell 5000 and TruBend Cell 7000 . The TruBend Cell 7000 is what TRUMPF dubs “ the world ’ s fastest small-part bending cell .” The LoadMaster Bend loads the pressbrake with blanks parallel to production . An integrated sheet sensor transfers them to the BendMaster .
TY Associates in Japan has introduced ‘ MY DIE ’, a new bending lower die for press brakes .
Warcom is a leading Italian manufacturer of press brakes , shears , plasma cutting machines and fibre laser cutting machines . Its press brake series includes Evoluta , Futura , Dinamica and Logica .
Weinbrenner has 70 years of sheet-metal bending experience . Its flagship model , the WPH Series Hybrid Press Bake , has a robust O-frame design .
“ This design , using hybrid technology , ensures faster speeds and generates less energy consumption compared to traditional hydraulic CNC press brakes ,” it explained .
Its portfolio includes a wide range of 100 % electric press brakes , ranging from 20-130 tons . Both its ball-screw and belt-pulley-driven press brakes offer immediate acceleration to reduce cycle times , in comparison to hydraulic press brakes , reportedly “ by more than 30 %.”
Tooling specialist , WILA , develops and manufactures press-brake tooling and specialises in mechanical , hydraulic and pneumatic press-brake clamping systems . The WILA AirPower Series of tool-holders can be used for electric press brakes .
The WILA Webshop is suitable for standard tools , while the Tool Advisor offers users an online engineering tool for configuring customer-specific solutions . WILA ’ s Smart Tooling Concept enables press-brake users to manage tool data . Its clamping systems can be equipped with the Smart Tool Locator , part of the Smart Tooling Concept , which uses LED indicators to reduce errors during bending operations . With a scannable DM-code on every New Standard Premium tool , WILA provides an Industry-4.0 tool management solution for easy identification and tool data exchange .
