opportunities ahead .” He has certainly left it in good shape , with a predicted 10 % increase in turnover to around 34 million euros ( compared to last year ) and more percentage increases anticipated in 2025 as the company pursues further growth in the United States .
“ I will never forget these years , and I cherish all the memories I have gained here ,” he told ISMR .
His successor , Frans Huvers , is a technician and engineer with a lot of international experience , including various management positions at machine-tool companies in the Netherlands . He started as a structural engineer , with Phillips ’ lighting division , on very thin sheet-metal deep drawing for contacts and battery housings . He then took over responsibility for the outsourcing of Phillips ’ engineering and lamp production machinery before moving onto management roles with various machine-tool manufacturing and engineering companies . He has known Timesavers for some time , having bought one of its deburring machines as a past customer . Like the company and most of its employees , he is a true Zeeuw ( originally from Zeeland ).
“ Initially , I will be familiarising myself with the company and its activities and securing what has been achieved to date . We will then need to plan , roadmap and roll out the expansion in our production that will be needed to meet existing and new customer demands worldwide . To stay ahead of the competition , we need to strengthen our position and plan on value creation and innovation in all aspects of the business especially in products , services and processes . The third spearhead is to strive for excellence in order realization ; manufacturing ; logistics ; service and development . These are all the big targets that I that I need to hit ,” Frans Huvers told ISMR .
Huvers will also be the first managing director of Timesavers International to be responsible for the worldwide sales of Timesavers International BV-produced machines . A few years ago , the company started producing its European rotary brush products at its factory in Goes for the U . S . market . Demand for these machines from the United States has since rocketed and Huvers plans to make these machines available for all U . S . dealers as well as customers worldwide .
All the company ’ s different machine ranges have never been introduced in America before and he now sees the opportunity to do this .
“ One of my major priorities will be to ensure that the ensuing production demand is fulfilled by our colleagues in Goes . The North American continent has around 40 metal dealers and this constitutes both a huge undertaking and a huge opportunity . It will also put greater demands on our production capacity in the Netherlands ,” continued Frans Huvers .
Huvers will therefore be focusing on streamlining and improving production in Goes to ready the company for new demands globally , including from several regions in the Far East .
New launches at Blechexpo
At Blechexpo in Stuttgart this November , Timesavers will showcase its new , small 12RB series deburring machine with three stations and a working width of 300mm .
“ It is the smallest machine on the market with rotary brush technology and we are the first to bring such a machine onto the market . We already have the larger 22 , 32 and 42 machines in our product portfolio . This new machine will incorporate most of the features of the larger machines ,” Frans Huvers told ISMR .

Another innovation for Blechexpo is focused on minimising unnecessary energy consumption while maximising the simplicity , flexibility and connectivity of its machines . New features for the Timesavers ’ 42 series deburring ; finishing ; edge radiusing and laser oxide / heavy slag removal machine will also be rolled out for its 22 and 32 series machines . These include new frontages for the machines , providing all types of additional information for the operator including operational status and a more aesthetically pleasing appearance . The smart design includes a screen with a live view of the machine ’ s exit . This is to ensure safer operations and reduce operator mistakes .
