One of its webinars in April this year , watched by hundreds of attendees , was focused on challenges in the wind energy industry and , particularly , understanding how industry will cope with its monumental growth and the hype created around this renewable source of energy for the future .

Ceretti believes that sheet metal professionals , as in any other sector , must keep investing in digital tools to boost interactions with existing and new customers , and to protect their employees by providing the tools to increase remote working .
Growth in focus
Ceretti believes that global markets will continue to increase demand for metal formed products but , due to the current geopolitical situation , volatility will be high and will push metal fabricators to be as flexible and reactive as possible .
“ We believe the U . S . and Asia-Pacific regions will drive demand for metal forming machines , with countries such as India becoming significant players as their infrastructure develops ,” he told ISMR .
“ Our strategic and technical focus is to keep growing as a group , using the synergies provided by each brand , not only technically but also commercially , to offer customers an even wider range of high-quality options . We will keep working with our distribution network ( companies with whom we have been collaborating for many years now ) and consolidate our position in new regions

through new powerful distributors with very professional technicians who can support our machines . High quality and great service are the keys to our success in markets like India ,” he explained .
Ceretti also aims to continue implementing new digital tools and sales channels to help customers interact easily with FACCIN and obtain information on its products and services . In particular , FACCIN has invested in building closer relationships with its customers by launching the interactive “ FACCIN Group World ” project . This project takes the FACCIN factory directly to its customers through interactive presentations and virtual visits .
“ Fluctuations in the market and the struggle to find skilled workers are driving fabricators to replace their old equipment with high-quality equipment , principally looking for accuracy and automation to increase their production output , which is precisely what we offer ,” said Ceretti . “ As steel prices go up and margins grow smaller , accuracy is the answer . We design our machines to offer a return of investment centred on the accuracy of the forming process and avoidance of metal waste , always integrating powerful upfront technology that increases the output cycle and return on investment ,” he explained .
FACCIN has been ISO-9001 certified for more than ten years and implements the Lean philosophy in all production phases of its rolling machines .
Ceretti highlighted several ongoing trends in the machine tool industry such as enhanced automation using advanced measurement systems ; connectivity and remote diagnostics ; Industry 4.0 ; reduction of environmental impact and increased machinery safety .
“ Our Group has always been at the vanguard , in terms of precision and automation , of the forming process . FACCIN was the first company to offer a CNC for plate rolling machines , back in 1984 . We will keep focusing on providing metal forming companies with equipment of the maximum quality , powerful and modern but , above all , accurate and highly automatic ,” he told ISMR .
