Founded in the 1960s , the FACCIN Group is a global metal forming machine manufacturer , headquartered in Visano , Italy . It also has two branches ( one in the U . S . and the other in Germany ) as well as sales offices , dealers and business partners around the world . It is a specialist in the design , manufacture and sale of plate bending rolls , profile bending machines , dished head machinery and special machines ( including ship frame bending rolls and presses and plate straightening machines ).
The Group is a powerful combination of well-recognised brands in plate rolling , profile bending , dished-head and special machine manufacturing ( Faccin , Boldrini and Roundo ). These brands are all united under one roof ; each brand specialises in a certain type of product , all united by a common feature – tailored and energy-efficient productservice systems . Its machine tools are used to manufacture a range of varied products , including pressure vessels , heat exchangers , road / railway tanks , gas pipelines and wind towers .

FACCIN Group ’ s CEO , Andrea Ceretti , sat down with ISMR to highlight some of its latest new projects , achievements , product launches and plans .
“ This year , FACCIN is launching a new roller design and a new line of premium angle rolls .”
Despite the challenges and hurdles created by the COVID-19 pandemic , FACCIN has scored some important successes this year .
“ During the first half of this year , we have been able to finalise some very important projects , due to our longstanding relationship with our network of distributors . I am pleased to say that we have beaten our nearest competition in many markets , particularly in Asia , by delivering heavy-duty machines that meet requirements for high performance and tight tolerances ,” Andrea Ceretti , CEO of FACCIN Group , told ISMR .
“ The determination and dedication of our people are the main reasons our group has become one of the most reliable metal forming machine providers , committed to the growth of each of our clients ,” he added .
Supply chain and delivery disruption has been a key feature of the pandemic , but Ceretti has insulated the FACCIN Group from these negative effects .
“ Over the last few decades , many industries have organised their supplies through outsourcing . However , the pandemic has shown us that outsourcing can be risky in a volatile market and put a spotlight on local manufacturing . At FACCIN , we have vertical integration . This starts with plate profiling , fabrication and machining ; we can perform turning , milling , boring and polishing operations in-house . We also have full control of quality inspection , pre-shipment commissioning , testing and crating for shipment . This has
