ISMR : Please outline any successes , achievements or awards this year ?
JA : In the last year , InspecVision has continued to focus on product innovation and has made great progress in areas such as the application of Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) and machine learning in our recently launched Guidance & Verification product . We are really excited about the range of applications for this and think that it is something new and exciting in manufacturing . The product was debuted at EuroBLECH this October and generated a lot of interest with multiple questions about the AI capabilities .
We are also very proud to have collaborated with one of the largest aerospace companies this year on a bespoke version of our Planar system . It has helped it to monitor and verify parts from a range of its sheet metal suppliers . Our tailored solution met the demanding standards of this sector .

right across the manufacturing process . Companies need to retain their skilled staff and use their skills most effectively , so products such as our Opti Scan 3D and Planar 2D ( which help sheet metal professionals to automate and speed up the inspection process ) are well placed to optimise processes .
ISMR : Please explain your strategic and technical focus / vision over the next few years ?
JA : We are focused on our strategic partnerships so that we can deliver integrated solutions to our customers . Integration and automation are key issues for our customers .
We are also investing heavily in R & D to keep our technology up to date , as well as making InspecVision systems more compatible , ensuring smooth data flow between machinery and other digital resources . This connectivity allows real-time data sharing and helps manufacturers to achieve integration .
We are excited to begin field testing our Guidance and Verification system and really dive into the innovations in AI . There is an incredible amount of potential for our customers who wish to improve efficiency in day-to-day operations .

ISMR : What are your views on the current global business climate for sheet metal professionals ? What about in 2025 ?
JA : Throughout 2024 , we have seen sheetmetal professionals continue to manage the instability caused by high input costs , persistent inflation and political uncertainty . The labour market has continued to be very tight for our customers and I think this will continue into 2025 .
This is the key driver to find greater efficiencies through automation and integration
