FACE TO FACE FlowIN fibre laser with integrated part separation

FlowIN is an integrated fibre laser system capable of separating parts and managing waste at the same speed that it cuts . Designed to streamline production and tackle sorting challenges , this system eliminates combs and pallet-changers by replacing them with a brush table . Only finished parts exit the machine ( free from the surrounding scrap ).
“ This process increases efficiency and manages waste . As the skeleton is automatically cut into smaller sections and placed into special bins for easy disposal , the parts exit the machines free of scrap ,” Eagle Lasers explained . “ Faster cycles and reduced maintenance lead to lower cost perpart and higher margins . FlowIN opens a new category in sheet-metal cutting processes addressing the industry ’ s evolving needs .
“ On the stand , we are also showcasing the new iNspire 40kW fibre laser cutting system , one of the fastest machines in the market . This is our most powerful machine yet and , like all iNspire laser cutters , reaches 6G acceleration . We believe that a fibre laser system should be a money-maker for customers . The shorter the cycle time , the more parts per hour with less energy and gas consumption , resulting in higher margins for users ,” it added .

In addition to FlowIN , Eagle Lasers premiered its upgraded iNspire 2.0 fibre laser cutting machine , equipped with 40kW of power , at EuroBLECH 2024 .
“ The new iNspire introduces several features , including Eagle ’ s MyEMIX 3 Pro all-in-one gas mixing system , MyECOCUT reduced gas consumption technology and MyECATFAST oxygencutting technology for exponentially faster processing compared to traditional methods ,” Eagle Lasers told ISMR .
The iNspire series machines features powers ranging from 4kW to 40kW , up to 6G acceleration , 340m / minute maximum positioning speed , 150m / minute maximum cutting speed , 0.05mm cutting accuracy and 0.03mm repeatability , confirmed Eagle Lasers .

some companies using fibre laser technology for the last 20 years , and more adopting it every year because of its obvious benefits .
Thanks to our collaboration with IPG and Eagle ’ s innovative vision , we were pioneers in betting for high powers and , over the last few years , we have seen a trend towards increasing laser power and performance across the board . But the truth is that to really exploit the full advantages of high powers , the entire laser-cutting ecosystem needs to be built to handle it . And power is not the only variable . Innovations should start to focus on tackling other challenges , such as automation and sorting . That ’ s why I believe that Eagle ’ s FlowIN will be a real game-changer .
Labour shortages are a real issue , so automation around the laser is also gaining increasing importance .
Next year , I believe the market will improve . Political changes , of course , will affect market developments and , in some countries , government incentives are encouraging manufacturers to adopt new technologies . Competition is not a bad thing . It encourages us to offer better , more reliable machinery , technology and service to our customers .
Since the advent of COVID-19 , our clients have taken a different approach to the market . Their orders are smaller and more varied . Even the automotive market has changed to smaller and more flexible production with hybrid and

EV models gaining popularity . Manufacturing machinery and tools should mirror this flexibility . Also , job shops today need versatile , dynamic systems that can process a range of material thicknesses with shorter lead times .
ISMR : You plan to launch an update of your Service Portal shortly . What is your overall customer service philosophy ?
CB : We want to build relationships with customers , not just sell machines . Our EagleCare concept rests on three pillars : reliability , trustworthiness and fairness . We are therefore launching a update of our MyESP ( Eagle Service Portal ), before the end of this year .
Reliability is based on the quality of the machine , using components and construction of the highest level to provide a piece of equipment built to last . Trustworthiness is the reason behind our MyESP ( Eagle Service Portal ) update which allows for better communication between us and our clients , but also gives us insight into our service performance . This enables us to create an Eagle Service Standard that is visible to both parties , ensuring full transparency .
In the spirit of fairness , we decided to join Machine Portal , a company that shares our commitment to transparency and accessibility of spare parts . We believe in market integrity
