With over 80 years of experience , Timesavers International specialises in the surface finishing of sheet metal , including operations such as deburring ; edge rounding ; laser oxide and heavy slag removal and finishing / precision grinding . Operating from three facilities in the USA , the Netherlands and China , the organisation supplies customers worldwide .
A continuous focus on R & D and innovation to maintain efficiency and consistency in surface finishing has characterised the company over the years . A firm accent on energy efficiency and productivity marked its product offerings on its booth at this October ’ s EuroBLECH sheet-metal exhibition in Germany .
ISMR sat down with Paul Hartendorp , managing director of Timesavers International BV , at the exhibition to discuss the company ’ s latest technologies , strategic roadmap and global market outlook .
We have set a new strategic path and are growing the company worldwide with acquisitions in the U . S ., as well as other global acquisitions
ISMR : What are you showcasing on your booth at EuroBLECH this year ?
PH : We are delighted to present the latest version of our compact rotary brush machine : the 32 HWRB series . Not only has the rotary brush carousel been optimised , but the machine also has an additional feature : the Hammerhead . The rotary brush creates a uniform radius on all edges of sheet metal parts up to a width of 1100mm . It is even possible to combine edge rounding with the removal of oxide skin on steel parts . The 32- series HWRB is equipped with a dust extractor ( Timesavers x Absaugwerk ).
We are also displaying our 22 RB series with pictogram control . The machine has a working width of 600mm so is a great solution for companies that produce deburred and rounded parts on a smaller scale . Our large 42- RB series , with Industry 4.0 functionalities , for removing large burrs can also be seen . It is our largest deburring machine , available in working widths of 1350mm and 1600mm . The machine can create a radius of 2mm on parts , with the eight rotary brushes , to ensure quality of coating and painting .
The 12 series WB is a starter model with a 600mm working width for the deburring and finishing of small parts . This machine has an
