“ Our customer base includes customers on four continents , with an important increase in the sales of coil-processing lines in North America , Australia and Eastern Europe . Our strong growth and position in the market over the past year are on the back of just two product lines : slitting and levelling-cut-to-length lines , developing technologies and solutions that anticipate the needs of our customers ,” he added .
In 2021 , in response to growth in the U . S . market , ATHADER set up a service centre at Bradbury ’ s USA headquarters in Wichita , Kansas . It boasts a stock of critical spare parts as well as technical service personnel , engineers and sales representatives who directly serve ATHADER ’ s U . S ./ Canadian customers .
2022 has been a very busy year for ATHADER . It has exhibited at several key exhibitions in 2022 , including Expo Acero in Mexico and EuroBLECH in Germany . ATHADER and The Bradbury Group team for coil processing , as well as Leveltek ( with its stretch levelling system ) and Samuel Nelson Technology with its push-pull pickling lines , presented their latest developments at EuroBLECH in Hanover ( Germany ) this October .
A strong vision
ATHADER has established itself as a globally recognized manufacturer of custom-designed coil processing equipment . It has supplied more than 300 new coil-processing lines worldwide . Since March 2020 , when the COVID-19 pandemic started , it remotely installed and commissioned eight coil-processing lines and projects worldwide . These included lines in Canada ; Ecuador ; Argentina ; Chile ; the United Kingdom and Australia .
“ Our vision over the next few years is to continue growing with our customers . We are focusing our efforts on improvements relating to equipment process automation and the reduction of downtime and production costs . We are developing virtual vision models and software tools to increase and improve the productivity of our lines , in addition to the remote assistance functionality which we implemented years ago on all our lines ,” explained Harkaitz Luengo .
“ With artificial intelligence ( AI ) research ; remote diagnosis ; data collection and implementation of our expertise , we intend to improve the maintenance and process of our installed lines worldwide by updating the software and related components ,” he continued .
Focusing on the cultural transformation of the company , and in a continuous process of change and innovation , ATHADER faces the challenge of technological advancement with the “ virtualisation ” of services , digitisation and growth in its products and services . Luengo is keen to point out that this must all be done within the framework of good practice regarding the environment , sustainability and “ the values that define our company .”
