MAKTEK Eurasia promotes global links

The 9th edition of the International MAKTEK Eurasia Machine Tools and Production Technologies Fair will take place from 28 September-3 October 2026 at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Centre( Istanbul, Turkey). The show organisers anticipate attendance of over 70,000 visitors.
MAKTEK Eurasia focuses on machine tools and production technologies, showcasing Turkish machinery industry on the world stage. The latest technologies in machine tools; metal / sheet metal processing machines; grippers; cutting tools; quality control and measurement systems; CAD / CAM / PLM software and production technologies will be on display. It is organised every two years in Istanbul by Tüyap Fair & Exhibition Group, in cooperation with the Machine Tools Industrialists and Businessmen Association( TİAD), and supported by the Machinery Manufacturers Association( MIB) in Turkey.
“ MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 has once again solidified its position as a premier assembly point for Turkish industry, having received formal recognition as a‘ Prestigious Fair’ by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey,” said the Tüyap Fair & Exhibition Group.
“ The inclusion of the trade show among the list of exhibitions endorsed by the Turkish Ministry of Trade presents a substantial opportunity for participating companies. With this support, eligible companies may receive subsidies for participation expenses including floor space( per square metre), stand construction and space rental, covering up to 50 % of the total incurred costs. Entities operating in Turkey that comply with Ministry regulations, and who have finalised their payments after signing the
trade show participation contract, are eligible to benefit from this support programme. Applications may be submitted via the Support Management System( DYS) no later than three months following the conclusion of the event.
The process is managed directly through the Central Anatolian Exporters’ Union( OAIB),” it added.
The organiser confirmed that, within the initial 45-day early-bird sales period, booth bookings reached an occupancy rate of over 70 % of the total exhibition area.
“ This underscores the high retention rate of exhibitors and growing interest from new companies. Current demand levels suggest that the exhibition will span all 14 exhibition halls entirely. Currently, there are 44 international and 171 domestic companies on the waiting list, prompting the organising committee to address demands for over 10,000 square metres of additional exhibition space,” it highlighted.
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 also focuses on strengthening international commercial links. In alignment with this vision, the event will introduce an innovative“ Guest of Honour Country” model for global industrial collaboration.
The exhibition will feature dedicated experience and content zones designed to showcase emerging talents and innovative projects, where industry leaders exchange insights and the future trajectory of production technologies is debated. By integrating education, innovation and professional networking, these zones will support the vision of the exhibition. ISMR is an international media partner at the trade show.
In 2024, the trade show attracted 1049 exhibitors from 33 exhibitor countries and 87,108 visitors from 77 visitor countries. n
