Universal laser automation and storage
Remmert sp . o . o will be exhibiting at the STOM trade fair in Kielce , Poland ( 25-28 March 2025 ), to showcase its intralogistics solutions for sheet metal and long goods . Universal laser automation for two to four lasers and spaceoptimised storage systems , with the latest WMS solution , will be among its key highlights at the exhibition .
“ LaserFLEX is one of the most universal and rapid laser automation solutions in the market . Up to four laser cutting machines can be automated via a central automation line . Any laser cutting machine , regardless of manufacturer , can be integrated . Together with our sheet metal storage systems , which offer up to several hundred storage locations for sheets in formats of up to 6020 , laser cutting processes can be run with minimal machine downtimes and very few personnel . The combination of different sheet formats in one system ( for example , 3015 plus 4020 ) significantly reduces space requirements and improves production processes ,” outlined Remmert .

storage of large-format sheets . This not only eliminates the laborious handling of large sheetmetal parts , but also the manual bypassing of remnant sheets ,” explained the storage specialist .
Remmert also offers various integration options for conveyor belts for ergonomic manual sorting or fully automated robotic solutions for all sheet metal parts .
Remmert ’ s solutions for the automated storage and picking of long goods ( such as bars , tubes or profiles made of aluminium or PVC ) will also be on display at STOM .
“ Special features , such as overhead storage and retrieval machines , enable maximum storage density in a very small space . Energy-efficient storage and retrieval machines , which significantly reduce overall energy consumption through recuperation ( energy recovery ), are a particular highlight ,” added Remmert .
WMS and material flow control
With “ Integrated Solutions ”, Remmert will also be presenting its next-generation software solutions . Visitors to the Remmert stand will get their first glimpse of the completely revised WMS . In addition to the integrated material flow control , the new warehouse management system offers numerous other functions that are displayed in a user-friendly way on every screen , from the monitor to the handheld device .
“ The software is modular from the ground up , so that the system can be configured individually depending upon the intended use . Additional functions can be docked on quickly and easily . The new system promises significant time savings during commissioning and easy training of operating personnel ,” concluded the company . n

New 4K digital inspection technology
Vision Engineering , a UK-based manufacturer of ergonomic microscopy and digital 3D visualisation technology , has unveiled its EVO Cam HALO . This new 4K digital microscope is suitable for a wide range of inspection applications .
“ EVO Cam HALO combines stunning 4K image quality with advanced , adaptive illumination , and new intelligent software , empowering users to capture the most challenging details with unparalleled accuracy ,” the company told ISMR .

Vision Engineering ’ s 360 Direct / Oblique Viewer also works with HALO , enabling users to inspect details from different angles , revealing hidden features that might otherwise be inaccessible .
