The intelliWELD II PR is a 3D scanner from Blackbird Robotersysteme GmbH for static remote laser welding applications and on-the-fly applications .
“ The scanner assumes the rapid and precise positioning of the laser spot while a robot moves the scan system over the area to be processed . The highly dynamic galvanometer mirrors enable a significant reduction of the jump times between the individual welding procedures to a few milliseconds ,” the company explained .

can also be adapted to process needs and ambient conditions .

Plex platform for smart manufacturing
Bayrak Technik GmbH ( a supplier of interior , exterior and chassis components for the global automotive industry ) has expanded its deployment of Rockwell Automation ’ s Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform . The company has four manufacturing plants in Germany ; its wider roll-out of Plex is a step to expand its digital transformation .
