Leadership transition for PMA

In May 2026, the Precision Metalforming Association( PMA) announced a leadership transition and new organisational structure designed to strengthen member engagement and position the association for continued growth. PMA is the full-service trade association representing the US $ 137-billion metalforming industry of North America.
PMA’ s Board of Directors has appointed Mark Getsay as PMA’ s managing director. Getsay has served as PMA’ s COO / CFO for more than six years and, for over three years, has also led the PMA Educational Foundation. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the association’ s operations, finance and strategy, guiding PMA through its next phase of growth.
As part of PMA’ s continued strategic focus on strengthening membership value, the association is expanding its leadership team with the addition of an Executive Director of Membership and Engagement. Working closely with Mark Getsay, this role will lead efforts to drive member recruitment, retention and engagement in support of PMA’ s mission.
As part of PMA’ s reorganisation, Director of Meetings and Events Katlyn Stratis has been promoted to Executive Director of Member Services, where she will lead efforts to enhance the member experience and deliver high-impact programmes.
On 8 April 2026, the PMA elected Chris Zuzick as its 2026 Chair of the Board. Zuzick is the VP of Waukesha Metal Products in Sussex,

Ejma joins Polish SME business initiative
Marcin Ejma, Founder and CEO of Eagle Lasers, has been invited to join the SME Council within Think Tank The Company, a national initiative focused on improving the business environment in Poland( supporting deregulation, strengthening competitiveness and promoting innovation). The SME Council brings together leading entrepreneurs and business figures who want to contribute practical experience to discussions about the future of the Polish economy.

New era begins at Westley Engineering
From its origins supplying precision firearms in 1812 to becoming a modern specialist in precision press work, tooling, CNC machining and production engineering, Westley Engineering in Birmingham( UK) has appointed Christopher Greenough as its new managing director. He succeeds the retiring John Harland.

“ Greenough joins the company with more than 30 years’ experience in senior operational leadership roles across British manufacturing, having previously held positions including commercial director and managing director. He arrives with a reputation for driving operational growth, building strong customer relationships and investing heavily in workforce development,” the company told ISMR.
The appointment signals a significant moment for the historic engineering business, which today employs 47 people and generates annual turnover of approximately £ 5 million from its dual capabilities in presswork, tooling and CNC machining. It supports customers across automotive, industrial and increasingly aerospace and defence sectors. The business already holds IATF 16949 automotive accreditation and AS9100
aerospace certification, positioning it for future diversification into higher-value, more resilient sectors.
Greenough said the business possesses“ all the ingredients” for significant future growth. He believes recent machine tool investments, and the company’ s engineering pedigree, place it in a strong position for expansion. The aim is to accelerate growth across aerospace, defence and high-value engineering sectors.
“ One of my priorities will be strengthening our apprenticeship programme and continuing to invest in workforce skills, because the future of manufacturing depends upon developing the next generation of engineers,” he concluded. n
