ISMR: You have entered a new chapter under the ownership of SDI Group plc, with the original management team continuing to lead InspecVision forward. Tell us more about this and what it means for your future development.
JA: Joining the SDI Group has been a fantastic opportunity. It gives us access to capital, group synergies and a global commercial platform— while allowing us to retain the entrepreneurial agility that made us successful in the first place. The management team remains firmly in place and, together, we’ re accelerating innovation, scaling production and driving international growth.
ISMR: Where do you see the greatest challenges and opportunities?
JA: The greatest challenge is the rapid pace of technological change— staying ahead of it requires continuous innovation. But that’ s also the opportunity: by anticipating customer needs and investing in R & D, we can lead the market. Global supply chain restructuring and the rise of additive manufacturing also open exciting new segments for us.
ISMR: How have you embraced sustainability / energy efficiency in your products, processes and operations?
JA: Sustainability is a core principle for us. The primary purpose of our inspection systems is to reduce material waste by preventing the manufacture of substandard parts through using First Article Inspection

( FAI) methods and better quality control. Our products are designed to be modular and upgradable to extend the life of the product.
Our machines are manufactured with energy-efficient LED lights and shipped in recyclable wooden crates.
In addition to this, remote sales and support has been a key element of our business model from the outset. Our entire sales process is designed to minimise CO₂ emissions and resources as most our support is done remotely and a high percentage of our sales demonstrations are online.
We also installed a solar battery system to reduce our energy consumption and help minimise our carbon footprint. Every new product is designed with efficiency and sustainability in mind.
