Levelling and coil laser systems
ARKU also showcased its full range of precision levellers from the compact EcoMaster ® for smaller parts, to the FlatMaster ®, for levelling flame-cut parts up to 60mm thick.
Coil processing and levelling was also a key highlight of InfoDays. ARKU’ s coil laser system, a joint development with TRUMPF, enables sheet metal fabricators to flexibly process medium batch sizes directly from coil.
“ Compared to cutting from standardsized sheets, part cutting from coil generates significantly less waste. By eliminating fixed format limitations, sheetmetal parts can be nested more efficiently, enabling up to 30 % material savings for large-format components. We showcased a system example demonstrating how laser shops can produce their own sheetmetal blanks,” explained ARKU.
In addition to new systems, ARKU also put the spotlight on retrofit solutions at InfoDays: modernising existing coil lines offers companies a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to purchasing new equipment. Retrofits can significantly increase performance, energy efficiency and automation levels while keeping investment costs low, said ARKU.
