Surface finishing specialist, ARKU Maschinenbau GmbH, invited its customers and industry professionals to its ARKU InfoDays 2025( 13-15 May 2025) event in Baden-Baden( Germany) for the sheetmetal processing industry.
Under the banner“ Next-Level Deburring. Pure Innovation”, visitors were shown its latest technologies for deburring sheetmetal parts and levelling sheet and coil materials. The event featured hands-on live demonstrations, new machinery and expert advice.
New EdgeBreaker ® 3000 FIBER
The event highlight was the premiere of ARKU’ s new EdgeBreaker ® 3000 FIBER, specifically developed for deburring and edge rounding of fibre laser-cut parts. Visitors were invited to bring their own parts so that ARKU could demonstrate the machine’ s performance live and on-site.

double-sided deburring to reliably remove even the hardest burrs. The machine also includes specialised rounding blocks which smoothly round all the edges. The result: a 50 % time saving by processing both sides in just one single pass— along with surface quality that meets our customers’ expectations,” ARKU told ISMR.
EdgeBreaker ® 3000 NEXT
ARKU also offers a machine to process traditional stamped and laser-cut parts: the new EdgeBreaker ® 3000 NEXT is designed for double-sided deburring and rounding.
“ Using intelligent technology, the process is efficient, reliable and delivers consistent results— ideal for customers with high volume production and stringent quality demands. The machine can handle sheetmetal parts of up to 2,000mm wide. The machine’ s large glass front provides a clear view into the processing area, making process monitoring and control significantly easier. At the same time, this nextgeneration EdgeBreaker ® is up to 40 % more energy-efficient, thanks to an innovative drive system,” added ARKU.
For flame-cut parts, ARKU presented the EdgeBreaker ® 9000 LINE— a complete double-sided processing solution designed to handle everything in a single pass after plasma cutting: slag removal, deburring and edge rounding. The system can process flame-cut parts with material thicknesses of up to 100mm.
