Eagle Lasers has announced the appointment of Dan Cortez as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of its newly launched U. S. subsidiary, Eagle Americas. He will oversee Eagle Americas’ operations, service infrastructure, sales and customer engagement strategy.

Della Bella is new UCIMU GM

Appointed by the Executive Board on 10 June 2025, Della Bella takes over from Alfredo Mariotti, who led the association for over 30 years and will continue to handle the trade shows managed by the association.
Becoming deputy general manager of UCIMU in October 2024, to ensure a smooth handover and continuity of ongoing projects, Davide Della Bella was also secretary of the UCIMU Foundation. He is executive director of CEU and EFIM, companies that organise trade shows and initiatives for the sector, and of SOFIMU.
During his career, Della Bella has actively taken part in the development of national Italian policies, operating as a member of the Working Group on the Italian Skills Strategy led by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, in cooperation with the OECD. He has a degree in Political Science from the University of Milan. n

Kemppi makes Board changes
Kemppi Oy has announced key changes to its Board of Directors from 30 April 2025. After 11 years of dedicated service, Teresa Kemppi- Vasama will step down as Chair of the Board. Vesa Tempakka has been appointed as the new Chair, bringing with him a strong track record in international leadership and strategic transformation. The Board is also strengthened by the appointments of Goran Popovski and Ole Kristian Jødahl as new members.
