Global Industrie is a major event in France that covers the whole of industry , bringing together : also facilitates the creation of partnerships or alliances between research and industry , good relations between customers and suppliers and meetings between talented young people and company heads and representatives of ‘ Human Resource ’ departments ,” added GL Events .
Following the ‘ France Relance ’ recovery plan initiated by the French government , Global Industrie is also launching a space entirely dedicated to ecological transition , a vital theme for the future of industrial production and services . This area will host exhibitors presenting equipment , components , solutions and services in line with this theme together with all the players involved through numerous initiatives in this area . Visitors will also be able to see presentations from exhibitors and partners .
A whole series of conferences will be held during the event , where over 160 experts and manufacturers are expected . The programme will include masterclasses ( by leading ‘ captains of industry ’), keynotes by factory directors and technical managers as well as roundtables in which three-five speakers will discuss one of the major industrial , technological or strategic issues of the day .
“ Contrary to preconceived ideas , French industry is a teeming breeding ground for jobs , many of which still too often remain unfilled . To meet companies ’ growth requirements , Global Industrie offers a service entirely dedicated to employment , training and the attractiveness of jobs in industry ,” added the show organiser .
Thirty HR managers are expected to present 500 job offers over the three days of the show .
Industry 4.0 international business meetings will also be held during the event . These attracted 119 participants from 21 countries and resulted in more than 330 meetings at the event in 2019 .
GI awards
Launched in 2018 , the Global Industrie Awards ( GIA ) provide recognition for exhibitors at the show who have developed an innovative product , service or expertise enabling manufacturers to improve their performance , optimise their means of production or enhance their corporate social responsibility .
Seven winners will be announced and an awards ceremony will be staged in Paris in the autumn of 2020 . Two special awards ( the ‘ Green Transition ’ award and the ‘ Women in Industry ’ award ) will be presented at Global Industrie Lyons 2021 . n
