Around 600 exhibitor companies ( 3,350 booths ) are expected to set up over an expected area of 60,480 square metres
to attend TMTS 2024 . The trade show is supported by The International Trade Administration , Economic Ministry , Taiwan . A further 13 associations and industry alliances in Taiwan have also lent their support to the event . Visitors can register on the TMTS website or through the TMTS app for free entry .
“ The German Trade Office Taipei and TACEA has organised more than 1,800 square metres of booth space for their exhibitors . In addition , the Taichung Intelligent Transmission Automation Association ( TITAA ), the 3D-Print Association ( USA ) and [ the country of ] Switzerland have also organised pavilions to participate in the show . Twenty domestic and foreign associations have been invited to be co-organisers . This important event for the Taiwanese machine tool industry will , once again , draw the attention of professional buyers ( both domestic and overseas ),” the show organiser , Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders ' Association ( TMBA ), told ISMR .
Echoing the digital transformation of the exhibition theme , TMBA will provide a mobile app tour function for visitors who will be identified through the mobile app to enter the exhibition . In 2018 , TMTS attracted over 700 exhibitors , over 4000 exhibitors and more than 86,000 visitors .

UMATI , the Universal Machine Technology Interface , is one of the growing OPC UA ( open platform communication unified architecture ) standards for machine industries . First initiated by the VDW and the VDMA , it is designed specifically to be fitted as machinery ’ s OPC UA . It aims to be one of the global unified standards for all kinds of manufacturing industries and to assist in realizing a crossplatform automated process .
