The TMTS 2024 Taiwan International Machine Tool Show now sports a new look and will be held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 in Taipei for the first time from 27-31 March 2024 . Green transformation is the overarching marker of the two exhibition halls which will display the latest machine tools ; automation equipment ; key components and smart manufacturing technologies .
The theme of TMTS 2024 , ‘ DX & GX for a Sustainable Future ’, is based on the two main axes of DX ( Digital Transformation ) and GX ( Green Transformation ). It incorporates ten different elements , split across both categories , which are highlighted opposite .
DX : Smart manufacturing ; Data Analytics and Cloud Computing ; AIoT ( integrated AI and IoT technologies ); Digital Twin / Human- Machine Collaboration and Blockchain Technology .
GX : Smart Energy Conservation ; Environmental Certification ; Resource Recycling and Reuse ; Green Supply Chain and Sustainable Product Design .
“ Digital Transformation ( DX ) has become an important issue in today ' s industry and , through the application of digital technology , machine tools can achieve higher production efficiency and accurate processing . Green transformation ( GX ) is also one of the critical issues in today ' s machine-tool industry . The trade show will emphasise the concept of sustainable development , and exhibitors will be encouraged to showcase green and environmentally friendly innovations and technologies ,” outlined the show organiser , Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders ' Association ( TMBA ).
Pavilions and exhibitors
Around 600 exhibitor companies ( 3,350 booths ) are expected to set up over an expected area of 60,480 square metres . The show organiser expects 45,000 visitors
