New President for EUROFER
Tata Steel UK Chairman , Dr . Henrik Adam , has been appointed as President of The European Steel Association ( EUROFER ), succeeding Francesc Rubiralta Rubió who has led EUROFER since 2022 . The Steel Association of Ukraine has also been accepted as a member .
Dr . Adam , currently Chairman of Tata Steel UK , Vice President of Tata Steel and Chairman of the Board of Tata Steel Netherlands Holding , also serves as Chairman of the Steel Institute ( VDEh ) in Germany .

Farewell to Domenico Iacovelli
Weiler Abrasives ( a provider of abrasives , power brushes and maintenance products for surface conditioning ) has appointed Ms . Mary Beth Martino as the new Chief Financial Officer ( CFO ) and a member of Weiler Abrasives ’ Executive Committee .
In this role , Martino will be responsible for the global financial activities of the company and its subsidiaries . In addition , she will work closely with Weiler Abrasives CEO A . J . Roshan and the Executive Committee to develop , implement and optimise the company ’ s global strategy aimed at delivering sustainable growth and transformation . Norsk Titanium AS has announced the appointment of its Chief Technology Officer and industry veteran , Carl Johnson , as Interim Chief Executive Officer . He has been the CTO of Norsk Titanium since 2016 and is closely involved in developing RPD ®, the company ’ s proprietary additive manufacturing process that delivers structural titanium parts to aerospace , defence and other industries .
“ Carl was instrumental in getting the first RPD ® parts on the Boeing 787 programme and continues to play a leading role in the ongoing qualification efforts with Airbus and other customers . Before joining Norsk Titanium , he had a distinguished 30 + year career at Northrop Grumman . He is a two-time recipient of the prestigious Robert J . Collier Trophy , presented to those who have made ‘ The greatest achievement in aeronautics or astronautics in America ’. Carl holds a BSME from Northern Arizona State University , an MSME from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of California , Los Angeles ,” confirmed the company .
Mike Canario will leave Norsk Titanium and assume the position as Chief Executive Officer of Qarbon Aerospace , a manufacturer of composite components and assemblies . “ We want to thank Mike for his contributions during his more than five-year tenure . We wish him the best of luck with his next endeavour ,” added Andersen . The Board of Directors has initiated the search for a permanent CEO . n
