This latest development makes it possible to load 3D composite drawings , and AutoPOL will identify and programme the sheet metal parts for production . A second new feature is the offline programming of the E-Bend L angle measurement system in AutoPOL . In addition to saving time , accurate angles are guaranteed by offline analysis of the angle measurement settings .
SafanDarley also presented the H-Brake Hybrid 110T-1600 with very high-tonnage density on a short working length . This compact and rapid machine is suitable for bending shorter complex parts in thicker materials . Its R-Brake 130T features a press brake and robot integrated into one system with fully automated tool and gripper change .
ATA is a proprietary Salvagnini solution which makes it possible to automatically adjust the length of the bending tools of the Salvagnini B3 press brake to the part being processed .
“ This automatic tool adjuster enables users to make full use of the press brake to produce batch-one or kits without compromising on productivity ”, commented the Italian sheet metal specialist .
“ The ATA device makes it possible to automatically change and adjust the length of the bending tools ,” explained Nicola Artuso , Salvagnini product manager for bending technologies . “ It is available on many of the models in our range of press brakes and can be configured according to the customer ’ s specific production needs : it can be used only for the upper tools , integrated with the MVM ( the variable opening die up to 51mm which automatically adapts the V opening ) or can be used on the upper and lower tools . It can also interact with the automatic AU-TO toolchanger .”
To combat the global shortage of expert press brake operators , Salvagnini offers its STREAMFORMER CAM software . Around
65 % of its B3 press brakes and practically 100 % of the press brakes with ATA automation are supplied with this software . STREAMFORMER integrates the press brake in a complete process because it is part of STREAM , the integrated programming suite for Salvagnini systems .
ROBOformER is Salvagnini ’ s automatic press-brake cell run by a single controller and a single program .
Italian manufacturer Schiavi has several innovative products . Its BSTs range has been designed for simple and rapid bending . Equipped with four axes ( Y1 , Y2 , X , R ), BSTs models range from 500kN ( 1.2 metres ) to 1250kN ( 4 metres ).
The HFBs press brake is for large-scale production . It features the ATLAS Pro CNC controller with new functionality for the “ Internet of Things ” ( Industry 4.0 ). The Schiavi TXP automated tool change system is also integrated .
Schiavi HFBx press brakes are its most advanced model in automated bending processes , characterised by a large stroke ( 500mm ) and span ( up to 1000mm ) between the tables . The wide span between the tables makes the production of large-sized boxed sections possible while maintaining a high processing speed . It is particularly suitable for robotic solutions .
The smart tool shuttle ensures quick tool set-up , with 2-axis to handle clamps , punches and dies handling . The ToolExpress TXP guarantees quick set-up of the machine without program , alongside expandable tool storage ( from 32 to 50 metres ).
STEP Automation specialises in numeric control for press brakes and shears . Its new-
generation ROCK NC series is for programming and controlling press brakes . The software provides features for Industry 4.0 such as scheduled maintenance management , production management and easy integration with corporate ERP .
TEDA Srl Speedy compact press brakes are designed for small part bending and are available in two versions , manual and NCdriven , and in two dimensions ( 550 - 835mm , 16 and 18 tons respectively ). The company also offers SPEED GRIP pneumatic and manual clamping systems for press brakes , available in different versions .
Turkish manufacturer TOSKAR MAKINA ’ s Easy Fab series of press brakes has been designed with two main goals in mind – easy operation and maximum productivity in the long run . They feature a sturdy steel frame ( ST44 A1 steel ) and a wide variety of standard features such as a motorised R axis , manual crowning and full-length tooling .
With its TruBend Series 8000 , TRUMPF is offering press brakes to handle large-format and thick components . Large open heights and bending lengths , along with press power of up to 1,000 tons , make the machines in the new TruBend Series 8000 true powerhouses . The latest addition to the TruBend 3000 range is the TruBend 3066 with a press force of 600kN and 2m bending length .
The TruBend Series 7000 is designed to bend small and medium parts rapidly . The TruBend 7036 has a press force of 36 tons and a bending length of 1020mm ( its usable installation height is 295mm ). The TruBend 7050 is built for users who work with thicker
