At EuroBLECH in Hanover , Germany ( 25-28 October 2022 ), Dieffenbacher showcased advanced system solutions for metalforming at the booth co-hosted by the Wirtschaftsförderung Heilbronn-Franken in Hall 15 at the exhibition .
With flexible machine concepts and customised complete plant solutions , even for niche application , Dieffenbacher supports its partners from the metal industry in project phases ranging from planning new press shops to integrating forming lines into existing structures . Its smart concepts for saving energy and increasing material efficiency all contribute to making production processes more sustainable .
Georg Obermaier , head of the company ’ s forming business unit , presented its new manufacturer-independent digitalisation platform , EVORIS , in a half-hour talk at the EuroBLECH Presentation Area ( hall 26 , booth L60 ). EVORIS helps plant operators to better understand and control their production and manufacturing processes by means of AIsupported analysis of live data . This , said the manufacturer , allows important decisions to be made more quickly .
“ EVORIS is an open and browser-based system . With its modular app structure , it is easily extendable and updateable . EVORIS apps use a modern , intuitive interface and can be securely operated from any mobile or desktop device within a plant ’ s network ,” said Obermaier . “ Based on standardised interfaces , EVORIS collects and processes machine data at a central point . From there , the EVORIS apps are fed relevant data to provide manufacturers with deep insights into their production processes via powerful trending tools and various reporting possibilities .”
At EuroBLECH , the manufacturer also displayed fully automated and flexible hydraulic press lines for sheet-metal forming and the production of quality parts made of stainlesssteel . The multi-point drawing system Multi- Point-Control ( MPC ) enables the production of complex geometries through targeted control of material flow .
Its embossing system , designed for stamping plates for stainless-steel heat exchangers , has been designed to meet demand for accurate embossing depth . Its portfolio ranges from the press to feeding and removal equipment to tools and tool-changing systems . The tailored press ( with press forces from 1,600 to 10,000kN ) completes its metalforming portfolio .
As an independent family business in its fifth generation , Dieffenbacher is a leading manufacturer of press systems and complete production plants for the wood-based panels , forming and recycling industries . It was founded in 1873 by Jakob Dieffenbacher as a small factory for fruit , wine and edible-oil presses . n
