New welding machines from EWM ’ s Picomig family are designed as robust , compact allrounders . Both the Picomig 220 and Picomig 225 can be used to achieve welding currents of 220A with a 230V connection .

Assembly machine for tube forming
Danfoss Power Solutions has launched its new WalformConnect tube-forming machine for steel and stainless steel tubing in sizes ranging from 6-42mm .
“ With an array of digital features , data tracking and cloud connectivity , the WalformConnect machine enables simple and safe hydraulic tube forming within the Walform ® system , a cold-forming , metric , tubefitting system ,” it said .
The new machine reduces the risk of assembly errors with a barcode scanner that verifies the correct tooling to use . It also automatically indicates the compatible clamping jaw part number and tube parameters . The machine captures a range of real-time data ( such as cycle times , machine temperature and tool-clamping status ). Operators and supervisors can access information on what proportion of a production batch is complete , cycle time per order etc .
“ The ability to monitor multiple machines in the cloud enables easier operational planning . In addition , historical production data and information on past orders can be saved on an individual machine or in the cloud , enabling easy local or remote analysis to further improve production ,” said the manufacturer . n
Bending software and calculation tool
Lantek , a digital transformation specialist for the sheet-metal sector , presented a new software update and global release at EuroBLECH 2022 in Hanover this October . It presented two innovative projects and the new features of its Global Release 2022 software update .
