The combination of fibre beam diameter and focus control provides a wide range of improved cut performance in all material types and thicknesses . The eightposition nozzle changer facilitates unattended operation .
The machine also features the Preview 3 control with a 15 ” touch screen and straightforward user interface to simplify machine operation . The OPTIPLEX Fiber III is available in various kW versions .
The OPTIPLEX NEXUS Fiber is a 2D flying optics fibre laser-cutting system designed for fabrication job shops and production environments . It features a large side access door and flexible design that includes an automated two-pallet design .
Mazak also offers a variety of tube cutting machine options . Its FT-150 FIBER is a compact laser processing machine ( for small and medium-diameter tube ) that can process single workpieces up to 6,500mm in length and 150kg in weight , with a maximum tube diameter of 152.4mm . There are also 8,000mm and 180kg options available .
MVD Makina Sanayi AS ’ s iLaser fibre laser cutting system features a Precitec HP-SSL cutting head , with collision control functions and automatic loading / unloading table . The iLaser features an IPG laser source ; a Precitec Procutter laser cutting head ; wide touchscreen ; loading / unloading table ; camera monitoring system for operators ; dustcollection filter and advanced CNC controller .
With a light and rigid bridge design , the speed of the machine was increased from 150000mm / min . to 220000mm / min . and its acceleration from 2.5G to 4G . With the increase in speed , said MVD , the system ’ s production efficiency increased by 20 %.

For 2D laser cutting , Prima Power showcased its Laser Genius + at Blechexpo in Stuttgart in October 2021 . With its high dynamics ( 180m / min . trajectory speed and 2.8G acceleration ), cycle times can be considerably reduced and productivity and cutting quality increased . With a wide range of laser powers available , Laser Genius + is a ‘ plug & play ’ compact machine where all services , already tested , are integrated into one dedicated module separated from the machine ’ s working area . Rapid installation times ( ready to cut in two days ), a symmetrical and reversible layout and a small footprint are other benefits .
“ Despite its compact layout , the Laser Genius + has a large working area compared to other 2D machines available on the market ( X , Y axis strokes : 3150 x 1600 , for the 1530 model ; 4320 x 2200 , for the 2040 model and 6320 x 2200 for the 2060 model ),” explained the Italian manufacturer .
Laser Genius + can be connected to the entire range of Prima Power automation systems . At Blechexpo , it was displayed with its Combo Tower Laser and the new flexible picking and stacking robot , PSR 2D , by Prima Power . The Prima Power line of combined punch + laser systems was also showcased at Blechexpo 2021 .

Prima Power ’ s 3D fibre laser system Laser Next 2141 , has a wide working envelope and different configurations . Other fibre laser cutting systems from Prima Power include the Platino ® Fiber laser platform , with Laser Piercing Monitor to give real-time feedback and check when piercing is completed . Prima ’ s new Advanced Laser Centre in Italy includes a new research and innovation laboratory for advanced laser production systems .
Salvagnini ’ s L5 fibre laser cutting system .
Two Salvagnini laser product lines are both based on fibre technology ; L3 , a versatile system intended for transversal use , and L5 , a high-performance , highly dynamic system for thin and medium-thin material . Salvagnini has extended its cutting power range , introducing first a 6kW high-density power source and then a 10kW source . This extension has benefited the L5 : its high dynamics have further improved the cutting speed reached by more powerful sources . Both product lines now have higher XY positioning speeds . New hardware and software solutions have also been introduced for both systems .
The L5 high-dynamic fibre laser system cuts across a large range of thicknesses using its compass , a mechanical drive system and the single-optic cutting head with dry cooling feature . It can be connected to LTWS , the new tower store , equipped with a new sorting device . The L5 ’ s APM will clean , dry and boost the pressure to ensure that users can cut much thicker plate using compressed air . Cutting with compressed air is considerably cheaper than using nitrogen .
