MATERIAL BENEFITS
Latin American steel producer, Ternium, has now installed five automated coil processing lines from Fagor Arrasate.
Ternium Industrial Centre in Pesquería, Nuevo León in Mexico.
Fagor Arrasate has supplied Ternium with five fully automated lines for processing steel coils of different thicknesses for a value of almost 40 million euros. Four slitting lines have already been delivered for coils of between 0.4-16mm thick, and one cut-to length line for processing coils of up to 25mm thick.
The five cutting lines have been installed at Ternium’ s industrial complex in Pesqueria, Nuevo Leon( about 20km north of Monterrey, Mexico). Ternium is undertaking an ambitious US $ 1 billion investment programme at this plant to increase its production capacity and better serve its customers.
