“ The 4HEL features simultaneous roll movement and micro-positioning, as well as increased speed and rapid roll movements for higher productivity. It also includes an electronic balancing system for precision, a sturdy and over-dimensioned structure for long-term reliability and centralised lubrication for reduced maintenance. The machine can handle a maximum plate length of 3050mm and a bending thickness of 50mm,” explained Faccin Group.
“ The Boldrini RIBO series flanging machine is used to manufacture dished heads for pressure vessels, steam boilers and equipment for the oil and chemical industries. This allows TPK OROMETAL to provide high-quality components to its clients while also expanding its contract manufacturing services. The machine is equipped with high torque and force work passes, high speed for productivity and surface quality, an automatic flanging cycle with pressure control and a new electrohydrostatic evolution control. This ensures reduced head thinning for cost-effective material use,” continued the Faccin Group.
The flanging machine can process carbon steel plates with a maximum thickness of 20mm, torispherical dished heads with a maximum diameter of 4000mm and semielliptical dished heads with a maximum diameter of 3000mm.
Implementation and performance
“ The newly acquired machines were seamlessly integrated into our company’ s production line. After an initial adjustment phase, both machines have been operating without malfunctions, ensuring uninterrupted production. Their reliability has significantly improved operational efficiency, allowing us to maintain production continuity and reduce the risk of unplanned downtime,” outlined TPK OROMETAL.

“ Implementation of the new machines has led to substantial improvements in productivity and cost savings. The 4HEL bending machine allows us to pre-bend large product components without additional tasks, reducing waste and optimising the required strict tolerances. Its increased power and speed further enhance production efficiency compared to the old machine. Moreover, the new 4HEL has boosted production capacity by 30 %, reducing production time by the same margin,” confirmed TPK OROMETAL.
“ Similarly, the new RIBO flanging machine is faster than the previous equipment. The new machine is equipped with more options for rotating the drive shaft, making the flange of heads significantly more efficient. The new RIBO machine has increased production capacity by 25 % while cutting production time by 50 %. Both machines have allowed us to fulfil orders more quickly, secure new business opportunities and significantly expand our European market share, driving a 10 % increase in sales,” it concluded. n
