• Products containing fragrances , such as detergents , soaps , and lotions , may irritate eczema-prone skin . Use mild and unscented soaps and detergents .
• Rough clothing material like wool and synthetic fabrics can aggravate the skin . Soft , light cotton clothing is best .
• Excessive sweating can also trigger an eczema flare .
• Changes in weather , particularly excessive heat , or cool or dry air with minimal humidity can be aggravating factors .
