Tissue Remodeling and Skin Renewal
Not only is Tripeptide-1 ( Copper Tripeptide-1 ) important in wound healing but it is also important in remodeling of normal tissue . These effects have been documented in both human and animal studies and in a wide variety of tissue types . In skin , the effects of Tripeptide-1 ( Copper Tripeptide-1 ) include increasing keratinocyte proliferation and normal collagen synthesis 26 27 , improving skin thickness 28 , skin elasticity and firmness 32 , improving wrinkles 29 , photodamage 30 and glycation 31 , uneven pigmentation , skin clarity and tightening , and upregulating protective barrier proteins 33 34 .
6 months- Control
6 months with SUPER SERUM ADVANCED + applied twice daily for the first 3 months and once daily for the following 3 months
The treated and control wounds shown above were then biopsied and sent to a blinded dermatopathologist for microscopic evaluation . These results are shown in the table below . The wound treated with Super Serum Advance + exhibited fewer inflammatory cells , a uniform scar surface that was indistinguishable from adjacent uninjured skin , and normal collagen bundles with uniform basket-weaving of collagen .
Tripeptide-1 ( Copper Tripeptide-1 ) has demonstrated improved results in hair survival . Its use has decreased chemotherapeutic hair loss in both humans and animals and improved hair transplant survival . Due to effects on decorin 35 , new collagen made under the direction of Tripeptide-1 ( Copper Tripeptide-1 ) assumes the correct anatomical configuration rather than a disorganized scar 36 . Dermal matrix support structures , including Collagen I , Collagen III and glycosaminoglycans 37 increase as normal tissue configuration is restored in the presence of this molecule . The preceding evidence allows it to be said that the properties of tissue remodeling and renewal associated with Tripeptide-1 ( Copper Tripeptide-1 ) are widely and diversely found throughout
