Graduation 2016 On Saturday, June 11th, IredellStatesville Schools had 1,390 students walk across stages through Iredell County to receive their high school diplomas. These 1,390 graduates received a total of $31,272,841 in scholarships. These students joined 242 members of the Class of 2016 who received their diplomas at a variety of ceremonies held throughout several weeks prior. Of those previous ceremonies, 142 students from Monticello School and Pressly School held their graduation CCTL (Collaborative College of Technology and ceremonies the day before on Friday, June Leadership): $840,000.00 10th. The Career Academy and Technical School (CATS), which houses the state’s first completely virtual school, iACADEMY, honored nine graduates on Wednesday, June 8th. The first schools to kick-off the graduation celebration were the district’s two early college programs. The Collaborative College for Technology & Leadership (CCTL) and the Visual & Performing Arts Center (VPAC) as they held their ceremonies on Friday, May 13th where 91 students graduated with their high school diplomas and in addition 66 earned their Associate’s Degree. With this milestone accomplishment, students have now turned the page onto a new chapter in their lives as some branch out into the workforce, military, or continue their education.  This accomplishment should not be celebrated by just our students, parents, and faculty members, but the community as well. Without the support from our community, our schools would look quite different. Our volunteers, partners, and civic groups, have provided support, guidance and leadership in many ways they will never realize. They have affected the lives of our students forever.    Congratulations to all graduates and we wish you the best in your future endeavors!     School Graduates   Collaborative College for Technology & Leadership (CCTL) 39  Career Academy & Technical School (CATS)  Lake Norman High School  Monticello School  North Iredell High School  Pressly School  South Iredell High School  Statesville High School  Visual & Performing Arts Center (VPAC)  West Iredell High School 8 Iredell-Statesville School & Family 9 476 139 210 3 319 214 52 171
