Brawley Middle School hosted two WWII veterans to speak to students about their experiences. Bob Harm (left) was in the Army Signal Corps from 1942-46 and Don Haseley was aboard the submarine, Cavalla, from 1944 to 1946. The South Iredell High School Women’s Volleyball Team won the NCHSAA 3A Championship. West Iredell High School hosted their annual Veterans Day tribute and luncheon on Tuesday, November 10th. Band and choral tributes were appreciated by the more than 150 veterans in the audience. Ms. Moorefield’s class at Harmony Elementary School celebrated book character day. The Youth Leadership-Iredell program is coordinated by the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce and Iredell-Statesville Schools. Through this program, students from diverse backgrounds, who have a commitment to quality leadership, gather monthly to explore the opportunities of their greater community. This program is held in partnership with North Iredell High School, South Iredell High School, Statesville High School, and West Iredell High School. Youth Leadership would not be possible without
