City Council from 1989 to 2005 and as Mayor
since 2005. His long employment history with
Pope, McMillan, Kutteh and Schieck, P.A.
(since December, 1975) came on the heels
of a distinguished educational experience.
Graduating from Statesville High School in
1969, Costi went on to receive his bachelor’s
degree in psychology from Wake Forest
University. At Duke University, Costi received
his Juris Doctor and then went on to Emory
University where in 1982 he received his LL.M
(Master of Laws) in taxation. Costi’s love of
his community is evidenced by his enormous
involvement including, Barium Spring
Home for Ch [
