STEADY GROWTH OF LABEL INDUSTRY IN INDIA “The label industry as I understand is growing at a stable rate of 10–12% per annum. There is undoubtedly a tremendous scope for growth in the industry,” says Dani. Maharshi has been bringing one or the other kind of innovation every now and then to come up with newer and improved technologies. In fact, the first self-adhesive label machine was introduced to the Indian market by Maharshi. The company, however, does not plan to participate at the Labelexpo India show, according to Dani.
