“I’m telling you, I had to look more than once—and then I hit ‘info’ on the remote…then
I searched for him on the web,” Darrell said.
“Who?” I asked.
“Boy George. There he was on ‘Later with Jools Holland’ belting out ‘King of Everything’,
followed by ‘Everything I Own’ by BREAD.
“Oh, c’mon. You have to be kidding me. How did he sound?”
“Amazing. Trust me—this guy was on my short list of artists I never wanted to hear from
again,” Darrell said, crossing his legs and hitting my desk—nearly sending my cup of
coffee flying.
