Leave it alone
When I mentioned to the virtual world that I had escaped my invisible tomb, one of the first to discover
my corner reached out to me. Lyricist Dave Jersey out of New York seems to have covered my mental
state over the past several months of seclusion almost perfectly with the title of this next piece. If any
of you out there are in need of a lyricist, Dave is constantly writing and creating tapestries of emotion
and life. You can check out more of Dave’s work right here: www.facebook.com/dave.jersey.923
I’m Lost
By DAVE JERSEY
My mind's a mess - Losing it I guess
When I was with you - I wasn't like this
My world's torn apart - Just like my heart
It all came to an end - But when did that start
Now I'm lost, I'm lost - I'm so damn lost
When did it go wrong - And for how long
Here I was thinking - I'm right where I belong
You were always near - So used to you here
Not a day goes by - That I don't shed a tear
I'm lost, I'm lost - I'm so damn lost
I'm lost, I'm lost - I'm so damn lost
It all blew up in my face - My happiness erased
Now I'm lost - Alone and disgraced
I thought we were good - Like a true love should
All I want now - Is to sleep in my box of wood
I'm lost, I'm lost - I'm so damn lost
I'm lost, I'm lost - I'm so damn lost
I'm lost, I'm lost - I'm so damn lost
I'm lost, I'm lost - I'm so damn lost
To say the least, it is good to be back! Let me see what I can draw from within on this cold winter’s day….
Return

Trace again the empty scene
Calling out to what may be
Gravity is pulling free
Nothing left for you to be
